D-Wade is Getting Sued

Basketball star Dwayne Wade closed his restaurant chain and sued his partners claiming mismanagement.  Now his ex-partners are counter suing alleging he never promoeted the restaurant. The say that after signing the deal he wanted 20% more of the business than he had originally agreed upon and also wanted them to hire his father and a childhood friend at high paying salaries.  When they refused he stopped cooperating.

A source said: “They actually tried to have the partners sign a new contract that was unacceptable. Dwyane tried to have us pay his dad to do nothing.” If they didn’t agree to a new contract his lawyers told the partner’s lawyer’s: “You can either have a happy Dwyane, or an unhappy Dwyane!”

Wade’s people said, “We would’ve helped with anything they wanted. I was going to be Dwyane’s eyes and ears in the restaurants. They were real jobs. Plus, they initiated everything and now they turn it around. They’re trying to make Dwyane look like the bad guy who’s shaking them down. That’s not the truth.” Source

I wonder if he really tried to strong arm him or if they’re just retaliating for his suit.  Not that I know him but he seems like a decent dude.
