Donte Stallworth has been suspended for the ’09 season after a car accident where he killed a pedestrian while driving drunk.
Roger Goodell thinks that the 24 day jail sentence he received isn’t enough and the NFL commissioner will reinstate Stallworth after the Super Bowl.Source
I agree that the sentence didn’t fit the crime. But how do you all feel about your job having the power to punish you for a non-work releated incident?

Michael Vick has signed with the eagles. He’s got a 2 year deal for 1.6 million dollars.
Andy Reid, Eagles coach, said, “I’m a believer that as long as people go through the right process, they deserve a second chance. He’s got great people on his side; there isn’t a finer person than Tony Dungy. He’s proven he’s on the right track.”
“There won’t be a quarterback controversy,” Reid said. “We have to make sure he gets back in football shape. He comes into a good, stable unit here. Donovan and Michael are very close.”
Donovan added, “I pretty much lobbied to get him here. I believe in second chances and what better place to get a second chance than here with this group of guys. … He’s no threat to me, not for Kolb. We had the opportunity to add another weapon to our offense.”
In a “60 Minutes” interview set to air Sunday, Vick said he feels “some tremendous hurt behind what happened.”
He added that he should have taken “the initiative to stop it all … I didn’t.” Source

Leona Lewis was horrified after her photo shoot was invaded by tarantulas. She was shooting album work for her second album on a cliff in Malibu and a nest of Trantulas was disturbed.
A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Someone on the set had disturbed the spiders’ nest and they had come out to see what all the commotion was about. Leona was the first to see them and was petrified – frozen in fear and shrieking.
“For someone who professes to be such a nature lover, it was a bit of an unexpected reaction. But she was terrified of being bitten.”
Just cus you love animals, generally speaking that is, doesn’t mean you want to kiss cobras and sleep with spiders. Fear is there to protect you. Duh!

Jon and Kate were fighting so loudly that one of their neighbors called the cops. The two were fighting about their nanny Stephanie Santoro. It was Jon’s day with the kids and Kate showed up. So he wouldn’t let her in the home then she went off about Stephanie, a nanny Jon hired who had also been sleeping over the house recently.
After police calmed things down Kate left peacefully and went to stay at a Days Inn.
The two have also been tormenting each other.
“[Kate] is sickened by just the sight of Jon,” says a source. “She plays the victim in public, but behind closed doors, Kate wants Jon to suffer. She taunts him by telling him he’s fat and ugly.”
“Kate’s sensitive about her age starting to show — especially the crow’s feet around her eyes and cellulite and her backside,” says an insider. “So he calls her ‘granny’ to see if he can make her cry.”
The problem is that these two never really grew up before they decided to add like 27 kids into the mix. It’s time to lock it up and just deal.

One of Beyonce’s workout secrets is the stairs. She says she tones her butt by climbing the stairs.
She said: “I guess my butt is natural. But I go through stages like every woman. I like being curvy but sometimes I get curvy in the wrong places
“After New Year I do stairs – they are the best thing for butt cheeks. Every January I’ll start working out. I’ll do that for three months and then stop again!”
She also says hat she haites making ‘most beautiful’ lists.
She added: “Some people think one thing is beautiful, some think another is. When people say that I am ‘most beautiful’ or ‘most sexy’, it bothers me.
“I like fashion and I like to look good. I like to try at least, but everyone has their own opinion.”
What kinda freak hate’s being called beautiful. Note to EVERYONE: If you wanna call me beautiful, you go right ahead. Please and thank you.

Lady Gaga gave tour mate Kanye West an ultimatum: Put on a gay show for her large gay fan base or she won’t tour with him.
She told him, “I just want to be clear before we decide to do this together: I’m gay. My music is gay. My show is gay. And I love that it’s gay. And I love my gay fans and they’re all going to be coming to our show. And it’s going to remain gay.”
She told Out magazine, “When I started in the mainstream it was the gays that lifted me up. I committed myself to them and they committed themselves to me, and because of the gay community I’m where I am today.
“I very much want to inject gay culture into the mainstream. It’s not an underground tool for me. It’s my whole life. So I always sort of joke the real motivation is to just turn the world gay.”
I guess he agreed because the show will be kicking off on October 4th. Source

Natalie Cole has a new lease on life after receiving a kidney transplant from one of her fans. She’s been dealing with Hepatitis C for over a year now and needed dialysis for three times a week. Her kidneys were shot and several fans offered to donate one of theirs with one winning out. Since the surgery, Natalie feels completely renewed.
She tells People.com, “It’s remarkable what a new kidney does to your life. I have no complaints. I’m pretty amazed. I have been working on my stamina.
“I just went to the doctor today. He is thrilled. I’m just really, really thankful. I’m thankful to the doctors, I’m thankful to the family that donated the kidney.”

Good for Natalie. For a few months there you could tell how bad the disease was wearing on her. Glad to see she’s got her mojo back.
